WHAT? Annual youth leadership event attended by 800 people from across San Bernardino County.

WHY? Y4 stands for “Why Youth? Why wait? Why now?  Why not? – Because the next generation is already here.” The event is for at-risk youth to celebrate launching careers and advancing education as they move through programs run by the San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board.

HOW? The event provides career guidance, promotes educational resources and highlights local job opportunities. There will be conference workshops and pep rallies. A resource fair will include representatives from local employers, public agencies, and vocational schools and colleges. Special guest speakers have been invited to provide motivational messages to the youth audience before a grand closing ceremony.

WHO:     Attended by youth who took part in programs run by the Workforce Investment Board and funded by the Workforce Investment Act.
