Single parent Katrina was unemployed and living in an unhealthy environment when she was referred to the Workforce Development Board.

She attended classes on resume writing and job search techniques and participated in mock interviews. As a result, she gained 300 hours of paid work experience at the Family Service Association, where she was later hired on a full time basis.

“The impact of this program has been life changing,” said Katrina. “I now have my own apartment and I am able to provide for my child and myself. I am confident and happy. I work with the most amazing and caring people.”
