After going through a difficult divorce, Maria fell into depression and was forced to resign from her job.  She was unemployed for five years and ended up homeless, sleeping in her van.

She learned of the services offered by the West Valley America’s Job Center of California where staff helped her attain her Certified Nursing Assistance license and find a job.

Maria is now employed, has found a great place to live, and has been able to help support her family. Maria said, “The help I received has changed my life.”
