SAN BERNARDINO • The County of San Bernardino Workforce Investment Board is holding a free seminar on wage and hours for business owners Sept. 18.

The discussion will provide critical information about 2013 wage and hour laws, the board stated in a news release.

The seminar will also cover the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, profit-sharing plans, record-keeping requirements and rules for hourly, salary or piece-rate pay.

The seminar is open to all businesses and takes place 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the East Valley Employment Resource Center, 658 East Brier Drive, 100, in San Bernardino.
